I’m a divorced college dropout who manages a cattle farm out of town. We sell our cattle to meat processing companies in Lester, Breeden, Tatum, McColl, Wallace, Marlboro, Bleinheim, and Five Forks. I used to just manage the sales and inventory aspects of the business, although my boss had to let go of some people, so I had to do a bit more work after that. We have a little more than a hundred head of cattle in the farm. Breeding season was coming, and the cows all had to be inseminated. For some reason, the bull we got from a neighboring farm got sick, and the owner blamed us for that. I didn’t have time to argue, as we still had loads of work to do. I needed to pay for the stud services from another farm across town, and I had to get the other bull treated before it got any sicker. As luck had it, our finances were in a bit of a mess.
