My beloved mouse, pie died two days ago. i am extremely sad and it hurts me a lot. i feel like its all my fault because i bought two mice earlier that week and they had been fighting, and i knew they were fighting and i tried to stop it as much as i could, but i was too lazy to just seperate them, even though i was perfectly capable of doing so. (there were only together for short periods of time though, i.e. when i brought them to a friends house and when i was cleaning the cage) i also feel like i had been paying more attention to the new mice and not enough to pie who had been with me all along. when he got sick, we took him to the vet and they gave us some medicine and i was giving him his medicine and i put him in his own little cage and he seemed to be getting better, but one night, i saw pie laying down strangely by his water bottle. i picked him up and he sort of flopped over in my hand. it all happened so fast and i was scared and my first reaction was to give him to my mom. ... details >>>
