I miss my daughter. Let me tell you her story. Our beautiful little girl Leah Kaydence was born at 5:04 a.m. on February 5th, 2009. She weighed in at 1lb 2oz. She was only 13in. long. Her eyes were fused shut and her ears were not developed. The doctors gave her a 5% of living through the night. She proved them wrong and lived through the night. She was doing well on her second day of life. Her bodytemp. was up and she was responsive. At 7:30 p.m. on February 6th, 2009 my husband and I left the hospital. I wish to this day I had not left. At 6:08 a.m. on February7th, 2009 I got a call that Leah had taken a turn for the worst. Bryan and I arrived at the hospital at 6:48 a.m. When we got there Leah was clinging to life. The doctors stopped us at the door of the nicu and simply said "She is dying. There is nothing else we can do. Would you like to hold her in her last moments?"
