谷歌(Google)新近发行了最新的gadget ，主要功能就是让你的Gmail停留在你的桌面上，并且可以方便地在不同的Gmail账号之间切换，工具同样包括Gmail的一些实用的功能，比如快捷键支持、邮件、内容搜索等等，使用者可以利用一个小小的弹窗发布信息而不用打开浏览器。
目前此Gmail gadget程序仅仅支持安装有Google Desktop 5以上版本的Windows
