Where are you Americans when you see the media hounding Sarah Palin for her clothes but do not say a word about the millions Oboma has spent on his campaign ?????? Where are you Americans when we do not hear one word of Michelle Oboma getting in front of a mic and saying she is finally proud to say she loves America???? Where are you Americans when we have to have the Oprahs and a loud mouth from England telling our young people to please go out and vote for Oboma??????Where are you at Americans that you would stand for a reverand to get on TV and openly say God D.   I have been listening to Obama talk on tv this am and I am so ashamed to have him running for President of The United States. He accused John McCain of calling him everything in the book but if you listen to Obama speak he is running McCain and Sarah Palin down every other sentence. I don't understand why people can't see through this man and know if he wins, we are in for a very scarry future. And another thing, are we sure he is really a citizen of the United States. Or is he really from Kenya. Someone should spend some serious time checking into this. I love America but if Obama gets elected he will bring our country down. I just don't trust him to make America better. His cockey attitude will hurt us as Americans. I feel John McCain is a real American and Sarah Palin is a real asset to our country. And also, we didn't hurt that bad with George Bush. People still shopped and ate out and traveled and he had his hands tied by the Congress. They would'nt let him do anything. So why can't people wake up and see what we are headed for if Obama is elected? Think about it.

  It cost 188 billon dollars for congress to pass a 700 billon dollar bailout. Maybe congress
  should go on 1 dollar a year pay check to pay it back.

  Why is there never a story about senior citizens and how they are trying to manage with very little income,no money yet what little they get they have to pay taxes, it is not fair. My hubby watches you all the entire day and nite, it drives me a little wacky sometimes he acts like he knows you and your friends personnally.I do not think our new pres is going to do much about our problems but he is a good speech maker.

  By the mid 1980's, the gov't encouraged equity loans through federal tax deductions. I immediately knew this would be a problem one day and encouraged others not to participate in this risky behavior. The government role in this crisis is enormous and back dates 30 or more years. Obama-nomics is NOT a fix, the gov't is creating more problems. Let the capital markets do the work. Many prospered excessively and now it is time to pay the gipper. This administration reacts illogically, radically, almost school-boyish without thought. It appears that many are starting to distance themselves from this administration. This is a good sign.

  Mr. Obama goes to Washington as in the old movie "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington." That is if you are old enough to remember the story. So why doesn't Obama stay in Washington and get our lives out of the fire! What was this whole thing about the "Hollywood Obama" going on Jay Leno? Our country doesn't need a "star" quality president. We need someone with knowledge, someone who is willing to really work hard and someone who does not blurt out new ideas that upset our country, especially our military who come home with life changing injuries, and then to take it all back. His idea of leadership is very confusing. Does this show leadership when you don't know your own mind? His comment about the Special Olympics really showed the person that he is. It wasn't just an oops. He really does feel he is above others and he can TRY to control everything in our lives. I'm sure that everyone that voted for him with a special needs child is looking at him in a different light now. The true light!

  What I have to wonder is if theold bait and switch routine is being used here. Obama wants to pass programs and tax us into oblivion, so they start the prosecution of torture responible paties, and while we are objecting to this, they slip other things by us. I just think with the protest over nationalizing the banks was redhot, they tried getting our attention on something else. It' the old watch my right hand over here whileI slip things by you with my left over there. At any rate I think Obama is as wrong as two left feet. Amerians need to wake up and call their reprsentatives in congress and senate before we have no rights left.

  The Boy Scouts of America has every right to set physical requirements to be met. In a world to sue first ask guestioned later it is their right to set rules and stick to them. The High Adventure treks are just what they say....No!!!one in their right mind would go on an 80 mile wilderness hike without being fit to carry their 50 to 80 pound backpack. It is one thing to deal with an issue when precautions have been taken to avoid mishaps...it's a different game when the deck is stacked against you to start with. Sea High Adventures (not familiar with the layout of the program)lets you know it is high activity. WHEN AN ADULT LEARDER PUTS HIS/HER WANTS ABOVE THE WELL BEING OF THE SCOUTS IT'S TIME FOR A NEW LEADER. Having been involved in Boy Scouts' over 10 years at leadership level it is always about safty first for the scouts and leaders. This physical requiement issue being adddressed on national news is really below scouting integrity and shame on HIM!!!!

Lets be fair-this will be a good way to purge our leaders in Washington. Everyone who has lied and kept bad records (keep in mind those who don't even know what they are voting on and seldom attend sessions) should be held accountable and dismissed from office. Who will replace them?   Good Morning! Just a comment about party for Grads. In our area, the Golden Triangle, (southeast Texas), our schools and parents put together "Project Graduation". It is very successful. Project Graduation is an all night party where the grads are locked in at midnight. There are team competitions such as volleyball, basketball, etc. We usually have a mechanical bull for the grads to ride, rock wall and numerous other activities. There is always a "casino" with fake money. The Grads can exchange the fake money for gifts at the end of the celebration. Anything and everything for them to eat. (cajun crawfish, barbeque, ice cream in every hall of the schools, as well as drinks, sweets, tables of fruit, chips and dips) It is so well organized. At the beginning of the school year, parents are asked to join a committee for "Project Graduation". This celebration takes nine months of organization. At 5:00 a.m., all of the Grads gather in the gym or auditorium to receive gifts. The gifts range from computers, flat screen tvs, Wiis, bicycles, gift certificates to area businesses, money , etc. An automobile is also given to a Grad who has had perfect attendance during the Grads school years! I can't imagine a school district and/or parents having a celebration with alcohol.

  Please get it straight! The financial meltdown was not a result of anything George W. Bush did...w3e were going to have the meltdown the minute Clinton abolished the Steagall Glass Bank Act in 1999 before Bush was in office. PLEASE GET IT! We are so tired of noone telling the truth about how this happened to the American people! And rather than reeact the Steagall Glass Bank Act Obama is trying to put together a complete division under his thumb giving him more power. Wake up!

  I resent his grouping of people my age, 67 and 69 as users of Doctors. My employer and my husbands employer will probably fold if made to cover us with insurance.

  1. Will they join the health program they are planning to pass
  2. Will they start paying for social security like the rest of us
  3. Will they do something about the thier health insurance like the rest of us, and will they do something about the hight retirement system they have now, which is out of this world. They need to do something to correct all the unfairness goodies they are now receiving

  my husband and I have health insurance through his employer and their company will be lucky to be open this time next year. We are 61 & 59 yrs. old. Almost ready for Medicare.Will there be Medicare for us? Will they 'shut down ' their enrollment due to changes in funding? We are being delivered into the 'belly of the beast'with this administration. Does ANYONE in Washington know how to say 'NO !!' ???

  our group consist of dems,repubs and independts, so we all get to call one another out when we have our facts wrong on certain issues or when we try to "strentch" the truth. One thing that we all agree on is that on fox and friends is not fair and balanced, sometimes it's like watching the three stooges in the morning. with gretchen, brian and doosey. we have all agreed that on the rachel maddows show she is fair and balanced because she calls you out no matter what side of the fence you are on. so we were thinking if the three stooges were replaced in the morning with meg kelly, bryan and bill then we would really have a fair and balanced show, and to be fair and balanced here all of us love the judge! why? because he tells the truth, and and one more thing, dont forget "haroldo" he keeps it real..ps, we have die hard conservative republicans here and they don't always agree with the so called info the three stooges put out..are they reading from a script someone else wrote?

  I have been seeing pressure building for years from the citizens of America. I really don't think it is ALL just Obama. The rebublicans became set in their ways years ago and just stopped working. They were in power and didn't think it necessary to go about the business of American survival. The process is on going, perpetual. To slack off on any aspect of paying forward the best interests of the American public is inexcusable. The democrats took over and since have done nothing but tear down any barrier to good government. They just think they can spend their way to whatever it is they want and the people of the USA don't have a sayso. I guess they are finding out. Blind, deaf and dumb sheep finally wake up and say NO.
  
  The problem with Obama as I see him is his egotistical, arrogant, demanding, childish approach to problems. Do it my way because it is my idea, is not working any more. He had the gall to hurry and push his personal agenda like the first stimulous plan was pushed. Hoping the congress and the American people would not find him out. When we balked and a few senators and representatives missed the koolade session and began seeing through the mist.
  
  The economy should be the top priority. We can't survive as a nation with our economy in the trash. Manufacturing begets jobs. Lower corporate taxes would beget companies willing to build factories and this would strengthen the economy. JOBS would be generated. Thus a better economy.
  
  We are engaged in two wars. Give our military all the support and supplies necessary to get the job done. Complete the mission and get our people home. Stop playing the diplomacy game. As I see it, when you have to send in troops to fight, diplomacy has failed. Take care of business and wait for their surrender. This is of course very simplfied here.
  
  The Health Care boondoggle Obama is pushing is not a priority, It is a pet project Obama has entitled himself to. A personal goal, historic mark for posterity. His legacy if you will. I have seen NO PLAN. There is no solid plan we can check line for line to understand what exactly Obama and his supporters want to accomplish. We're going to.....or we plan to.... with no grit.
  
  All Obama's plans need to bee scrapped, his inexperience in government, as feared by many before his election is showing. The security of America is top priority. We must be safe from our enemies. They have told us for decades they want to kill America and Americans. We should have safe guards in place to stop any possibility of THEM being able to do it. Fix our economy, financial stability, a strong dollar, jobs for those who are willing to work. Incentives for those who are lazy or other wise unemployed for some reason to get them motivated. Fix Social Security( Why couldn't the government have paid SS monies back they stole and make it solid.) Revamp Medicare/ Medicade for the elderly, children and disabled. Yes, America needs Health Care reform. ONE step at a time. A solid plan, item by item. SLOWLY and carefully brought to be so not to invoke panic.
  
  It took decades for this country to get into this situation and to think one guy, Obama, is going to Miracously fix all this nightmare in one year is crazy. The town hall meetings are an example of the American sprit waking up and demanding the people who are supposed to listen to us and work for us need to do just that! The representatives who are demeaning the citizens and saying they are disruptive and organized to cause trouble are in fact the problem. They are in fact a perfect example of the government acting stupidly!
  
  I hope Americans continue to argue and fight to get respect and a better America for us all.vsdmbx

  I recieved one of those unsolicitated e-mails from David Axelrod at the White House. I am really upset that they are sending me e-mails when I haven't asked to be contacted by them for anything. I hope someone gets to the bottom of that list they have. I sent a reply and told them so but haven't heard anything back. Which I really didn't expect to I guess. I really don't need their propaganda sent to me on MY computer. Thanks for listening.

Are you comparing the passion of the American people on those two issues???? Social Medicine first appeared in 1884 Germany. Through the generations it always has FAILED MISERABLY. In fact, the only people it benefitted through history were dictators. When governments sieze the welfare and money of it's people, it gains the ultimate gift of POWER!!! Read your history.   9/4/09 - as to the Van Jones issue. First, he should NEVER have been hired or considered. Second, he should have been out of there when Glenn Beck revealed the issues. ALL of the issues on him. I feel the same on the other Czars that have been hired with background issues that are controversial. I think this administration is UNBELIEVABLE. And I can't believe Obama was even voted in to begin with. Nothing to do with his race or color. I was proud that the citizens of this country today can and will vote without race discrimination. But his background and his past associations alone should have prevented him from becoming our US President. And those same shady association types are being brought into our US goverment. My husband stated that this is the US and does not believe that our government can ever become socialistic. Well it is trying to happen right now. And how naive to think it can't happen if the US citizens allow it to happen. Fortunately, our citizens and Fox News Media are taking a stance (or at least trying to) protect our

  Thank to thehealth programs in MA I am alive today. I got very ill at 59 yars old and still am. I lost a lung to a rare infection that required removal of my left lung at MA General. was first admitted yo my local hospital in Beverly MA. thought I was still insured by my X husband's miliatry insurance, it was part of the divorce agreement. When I got to Beverly Hosp I was told I no longer was covered. The representatives at the hospital immediately got me Free Care for this visit. Whe the severity of my illness was realized they help me and got approved Mass Health. Mas Health saw me through until I turned 65 and had eligibility for Medicare. Durning those years, Mas Health never denied any care for me. The amount spent on me was phenominal. I was taken at all the best hospitals. They saw me through rheumitoid arthritus, Crohn's desease, pancreatitus, glocoma and lung desease in my remaining lung desease. I had a stroke, seizures and on and on. Thanks to the grace of God and this great State I live in, I am still here, now getting cared for by Medicare and doing pretty well. The medication for my lung desease is Zovax. A medication not approved by the FDA for the treatment of my lung. My doctor wrote to Medicare, advised them I would not survive without it. It took two teams of inefecteous desease doctors at a Mass General and Beth Israel to find this med to hold back the infection now in my right lung. It was approved by both Medicare and Medicaid. It is a VERY expensive drug. Now I take one a day, it use to be 2 per day along with countless other medications. my total Medications are 18,000 per month. I do have AARP PartB and Prescription insurance that I bought to help defray some of these costs.
  Evertine listen to new proposals I get frightened. Would a very ill 65 year old women have all this under the new proposals. I think not. Please forgive misspelled or misuse of words.

I have e-mailed the whitehouse a couple of times saying that the only way you are going to help the econemy is to increase spending. And one way would be is to give each and every tax payer $10,000.00 tax free and let them spend it. Econamics 101. what say you?
