The Box is directed and written by Richard Kelly. The filming began on November 2007 and was finished in February 2008. 1976. Richmond, Virginia. One night, a financially challenged, suburban married couple Norma and Arthur Lewis with a young child (Marsden and Diaz) receive an anonymous gift -- a wooden box with a button. On the next day in the morning a mysterious disfigured stranger (Frank Langella), tells them that if they push the button there will be two consequences there. The first one is that someone in the world -- a person they do not know -- will die. Second, they will receive one million dollars.
