Police officers and PCSOs were in Waterloo Square, Bognor, on Monday (August 10) in a bid to find witnesses and information in relation to the murder of Marek Pudlowski. It is exactly one week since a member of the public found Mr Pudlowski's body on a bench and flagged down a police car. An ambulance was called but the 51-year-old Polish man was pronounced dead. Officers from Sussex Police's Major Crime Branch have launched a murder enquiry after he was found to have serious bruising to his upper body. A post mortem has been inconclusive and police are now waiting for the results of toxicology tests to establish a cause of death. It is believed that Mr Pudlowski was attacked between about 10am and 12 noon on August 3, although his exact time of death is unknown.
