A 48-year-old woman accused of falsely tipping off police that a terrorist attack was planned in Amsterdam Zuidoost in March was released from detention by a court in Rotterdam on Wednesday although she remains a suspect, according to media reports. Police picked up seven ‘terrorist suspects’ following the woman’s telephone call but these were all later released without being charged. In court on Wednesday it emerged that one of the addresses the woman gave police was her own and that her husband and children were among those arrested. The public prosecution service claimed on Wednesday that they have proof that Saïda H. made the call falsely tipping off police about the placement of bombs in several stores in Amsterdam Arena Boulevard, Mediamarkt and Ikea.
