Bandslam Movie Trailer - Bandslam’ is directed by Todd Graff and the screenplay is written by the director and Josh. A. Cagan. The film is expected for release on August 14, 2009 and bears the tagline, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”. The film stars Alyson Michalka, Vanessa Hudgens, Gaelan Connel and Scott Porter amongst a host of other actors. The plot centers on a group of high school students and the protagonist of this film is this young girl and her love for music. Another central character happens to be Will Burton, who shifts to New Jersey when his mother gets a new job in this city. Will finds it difficult to adjust to the life in this new city and constantly finds himself misfit in his high school atmosphere. But then, he finds it easy to become friends with another outsider Sa5m. They get along well. They are utterly surprised when Charlotte, the hottest girl of the school asks Will to build up a band.
