IPL 2010 Schedule and Fixtures Cricket’ latest cash crop IPL is all set to return to India in its third edition in 2010. Thanks to the overwhelming popularity of the first two seasons, schedules for the third are already being decided. Start of the tournament is tentatively pitted on the 3rd of March. The big issue has been excess fatigue for players, which ruins their chances of performing to the fullest in national colors. Several Indian players, Andrew Flintoff and other players are still carrying IPL-induced injuries. BCCI will take care that the IPL time slot allows significant period of rest before the World Cup Twenty20, scheduled to be played in March-April 2010. The original contract for each franchisee’s players was for three years. Many will try to leave a mark in the final year of their contract.
