IMDB Review Release: 15 October 1999 Watch Fight Club, based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk the story of an insomniac. Edward Norton does not like his job and gets no sense of reward or appreciation from it. He is so depressed that it leads him in to a life as an insomniac. His doctor refuses to prescribe drugs and instead suggests he sees a support group. Seeing other peoples’ agony and misery, he is able to vent his emotions and relax. That night he gets a peaceful sleep. In one such group, he meets Marla. Both of them share similar feelings and soon fall in love with one another. On a business trip one day, Edward meets a charming guy Tyler, who sells soap. The two grow fond of one another and Tyler is ready to help Edward out when his house is burnt down and he needs a shelter. Tyler allows Edward in his house on the condition that he will have to fight him. Both of them get immense pleasure harming one another.
