The Wii Motion Plus was released in June 2009 after much fanfare at the previous year's E3. The new controller addon is basically a plastic piece and a rubber sleeve to cover the additional length to the remote. It easily hooks on to the remote using two small prongs. Of course there is still the plastic cover up at the base of the device so you can still hook in the nunchuk controller. One of the biggest things you will notice right off is that the controller feels a bit clunky with the Motion Plus attachment. Playing a game horizontally will be a big problem. So here is hoping that there are no games released that make that a requirement. A negative to the controller is that it will no longer fit into the original rechargeable docking station. So you may have to upgrade in the future. With that said many reviewers have remarked that the Motion Plus has greatly increased the on screen movements to the player's actual movements.
